How to Make a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

We want each homeowner who reaches Mysteryexcuse Restoration to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, tell us. This page shows how to file a complaint and what comes next. It is a general template and is not legal advice.

What You Can Tell Us About

You can write to us about:

  • Your experience when you called or contacted Mysteryexcuse Restoration
  • How your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this site that seems unclear or wrong
  • How a provider we connected you with behaved

If the Issue Is With a Provider

Providers in our network are independent businesses. Each is responsible for its own estimates, pricing, work and customer service. If you have trouble with work in your home, the usual first step is to raise it with the provider directly and keep a written record.

We still want to know. What you tell us about providers helps keep our network honest, and a provider who often falls short of our expectations may be removed. Please keep in mind that Mysteryexcuse Restoration cannot settle contract disputes, refund money for a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.

How to File

Email contact@mysteryexcuse.garden and include:

  • Your name and how we can reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the provider
  • The phone number you called or the form you used, if you recall
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what outcome you hope for

What Happens After You Write

We will confirm we got your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. Then we will look into what happened, which may mean contacting the provider. After that, we will reply with what we learned and any steps we plan to take.

If You Are Still Unhappy

You can reply and ask us to take another look. You may also reach out to your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or to your local Better Business Bureau. If your concern involves a licensed contractor, your state's contractor licensing board may be able to help.
